It has been 2 months since we have left
The first month was rather hard for both of us. We felt like we did not belong here and the only thing that was connecting us to our country was the language and our family.
We had been looking for a job, a good church, and an apartment. Petr resigned from his first job after two months, then found a new one and started working this week.

Petr's grandmother made 40 crescents filled with chocolate and grounded poppy seeds first weekend we visited her and was so disappointed when Petr and I did not eat them all. J That actually repeats with a dessert variation every time we come to visit her. Petr’s grandma is very happy to have us backJ.
We have 2 nephews. The older, Matej, is 2,5 years old. The younger, Jakub, is 9 months old. Both of them are wonderful and we enjoy their presence very much. We had the opportunity to baby-sit Jakub for a weekend and we had a great time.
